Hyde Hall hosted its first wedding in 1834, and since then many couples have found its spectacular views and magnificent historical ambiance to be the perfect setting for their special day.  In 2007, we celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Anne Hyde Clarke to Arthur Choate, - the most lavish wedding every held by the Clarke Family, a grand family from England who built and owned Hyde Hall for 150 years.  It was this same Mrs. Choate, a major figure in the fascinating history of Girl Scouting in America, who was to begin the tradition of the bride throwing her bouquet from the mansion's magnificent balcony.  Now you too can join in the romance of this age old tradition!
